What Is Baptism?
Baptism is a public expression of your faith in Jesus. It’s a way of saying, “I’ve decided to follow Jesus, and I want the world to know.”
Going under the water represents leaving our old life behind, and coming up out of the water represents new life in Christ. Baptism doesn’t save us—Jesus does—but it’s a meaningful step of obedience and a beautiful way to publicly celebrate the new life God is creating in you.
Whether you’re new to faith or you’ve been following Jesus for years, baptism is a celebration of your decision to live your life with Him.
